The Big Sissa thoroughly spoiled me!We stayed in an amazing boutique resort on the edge of town in Luang Prabang, spent the day swimming and having massages/spa treatments and then went out for dinner at a French/Laos fusion restaurant which was voted #1 Laos in New York Times. When we got back to the hotel there was a vanilla cake with chocolate ganache icing and macaroon decorations! Wow oh wow!

My birthday pressie! White topaz in rose gold circle in a sterling silver band. The disk flips over and the other side is a solid rose gold circle in the middle.
Banana leaf parcels with sauted mushrooms, coconut cream mousse, eggplant and dill with black sticky rice. Nom nom.
Dessert was lotus leaf and mint tiramisu! Sooooo good.
