Mr and Mrs Barrett

This weekend, the boy and I travelled from Melbs to Mudgee for an unbelievably lovely wedding.

After weeks of non-stop rain, the clouds parted and the sun shon brightly. 

Just like these two people, the wedding was so well planned, thoughtful and simply gorgeous.  It was so lovely to be part of the day.  I loved the bride's dress. It suited her to a T! Her veil was her great-grandmother's which was so special.  They each had photos of their grandparents at the reception which was really special.  The flowers and table decor were spectacular, the speeches heartfelt and genuine, and the food matched with wine was delicious. 

What a fitting way to celebrate these two lovers.

I am eleven

Feature length doco. A great film. Capturing both the innocence and maturity of old souls in the bodies of open minded youth. Talented melbourne filmmaker. Pals with our buddy Gregoire.

We had a fire alarm this morning which meant that 40 stories of office workers poured out of the building onto the footpaths in the middle of the CBD. Our normal evacuation area was closed off as last week a marble panel fell off the building and smashed into the assembly area. So Rather than mill around i took liberties and wandered the city/ did a few errands to avoid the throngs trying to scramble back into the buildings and clog the lifts. Which incidentally happened! One lift of 16 people was apparently stuck for 40 minutes!

Not so bad getting up at 5:30 after all
